Participants in the Company’s activities must meet the following minimum requirements:
- Members/Directors of the Company must be Black engineering professionals.
Subject to determination by the Investment Committee and Board approval, the EIC’s scope of investments is limited to:
- Buy-outs of businesses owned by third parties.
- De-listing and divesture transactions.
- Equity investments in start-up businesses of qualifying managers.
The Company may not invest its funds in:
- Purchasing equities and investment portfolios listed by the JSE Securities Exchange.
- Loans of any kind to its shareholders.
- Businesses of non-participants.
